The International Nuclear EXPO 2026 (INEX 2026) grandly opened at BEXCO, Busan, for a three-day run from April 22 to 24. This year’s event features 420 booths from 159 companies representing 20 countries, drawing approximately 18,000 participants from across the nuclear industry, academia, and research institutes.
Jointly hosted by the Korea Atomic Industrial Forum (KAIF) and Busan Metropolitan City, and organized by BEXCO, the expo features leading domestic and international nuclear organizations. Key exhibitors include Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP), KEPCO KPS, KEPCO E&C, KEPCO NF, KEPCO KDN, Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI), Korea Radioactive Waste Agency (KORAD), Doosan Enerbility, Westinghouse, Orano, Framatome, and AtkinsRéalis. Together, they are showcasing cutting-edge technologies across various fields, including nuclear safety, equipment and components, and decommissioning.
Notably, this year’s exhibition marks the debut of the Czech and Chinese National Pavilions, featuring 14 Czech companies and 8 Chinese companies, which created valuable business matching opportunities with Korean enterprises. Furthermore, with the support of KHNP, KAIF organized the "International Buyer Matching Zone", inviting 49 buyer companies from 16 countries and successfully arranging 470 business meetings with domestic SMEs over two days.
In addition, a variety of concurrent events—such as the Shared Growth Business Briefing, the Power & Nuclear Equipment Purchase Consultation, and the Czech Dukovany Project Briefing—are being held throughout the expo, driving proactive efforts toward B2B networking and mutually beneficial cooperation.
